I named Candy.
That brings us to last week, on the 30th, my grand-cow was born, and I was there to help my Candy have him. It was a hard birth, and poor Candy was exhausted, but she did good and had a healthy little bull. My other cow-parents and I named him CaptainKirk, and though he looks absolutely nothing like his mother (for one he looks like a girl, where his mom looked like a boy), and he hasn’t got the family speckle-spots, he’s already got their sweet personality. CocaKola is a first-time grandmother, Candy is a first-time mother, and I am extremely happy I got to see the entire family line expand in front of me. I hope I get to see Candy have her second calf, and I hope she might have a little girl that looks like a little boy this time.
