The sheep are fed and watered and spend the day eating their hay and snuggling together happily chewing their cuds.
The horses are fed and watered then turned out to enjoy the snow and sunshine while their stalls are cleaned, and fresh hay and water is brought in.
The cows are milked then turned out to play in the snow while their beds are cleaned. They return to the barn to enjoy fresh bedding and a nice new ration of feed.
As staff, students, and faculty we all choose to be farmers. We spend much the day doing what we love most - keeping our animals happy, comfortable and well fed. This is not a job to us, it is our life, and this is our extended family.
From our family to yours, two legged and four, we wish you a joyous, peaceful and happy Holiday!
